*比重 是各種塑膠在23℃(73.4℉)時與同體積的水之重量比
*密度 是一種基本分子性質，它幾乎影響各種重要物性，密度的決定係在23℃下先將經壓 縮成形的樣品在空氣中稱重，再浸入已知密度的惰性液體中稱重，經計算後可得密度值，以g/cm3為單位。
*水的密度是1.0 g/cm3 ，各材質置入水中如比水重則會沉入，比水輕則浮在水面上。
*加入複合材或礦物質則密度會增加，成品會較重。
*密度的定義d=M/V(g/cm3)；d=密度，M=質量，V=體積。
*比重= d/水d
*Specific gravity is the weight ratio of various plastics to the same volume of water at 23°C (73.4°F).

The density is determined by weighing the compressed sample in air at 23°C, and then immersing it in an inert liquid of known density.
After calculation The density value can then be obtained in g/cm3.
