PES聚醚碸 ,Polyether Sulfone高性能熱可塑性非結晶型工程塑膠自然色為透明琥珀色，屬於PC材質的一種。(瞬間耐溫度約206度，長時間使用溫度180度)
PES polyether silt, Polyether Sulfone high-performance thermoplastic amorphous engineering plastic and natural color is transparent amber, which belongs to a kind of PC material. (Instant temperature resistance is about 206 degrees, long-time use temperature is 180 degrees)
塑膠射出廠大多將PES應用於：
- 1. 塑膠嬰兒奶瓶。
- 2. 飲水機與熱水接觸的塑膠部分及符合FDA要求。
- 3. 微波食物塑膠托盤。
- 4. 侵入性塑膠醫療器具，需反覆高溫蒸氣消毒。
- 5. 汽車塑膠頭燈及塑膠反射罩…等。
- 6. 電子業連接器。
選用此PES材料主要是為了避免塑膠材質中的雙酚A釋出。雙酚A又稱酚甲烷--環境常見的毒性化學物質，被視為賀爾蒙干擾物(環境賀爾蒙的一種。)
雙酚A除了影響生殖及發育外，也會造成肥胖、糖尿病及心血管疾病，對人體危害相當大。
用途不同，選用塑膠成型材料需慎重，成型時要達到玻璃轉換溫度，PES塑膠特性才能發揮。
PES is mostly used in:
1. Plastic baby bottle.
2. The plastic part of the water dispenser that is in contact with hot water meets FDA requirements.
3. Microwave food plastic tray.
4. Invasive plastic medical equipment needs to be repeatedly sterilized with high temperature steam.
5. Automotive plastic headlights and plastic reflectors...etc.
6. Electronics industry connectors.
The PES material is selected mainly to avoid the release of bisphenol A in the plastic material.
Bisphenol A, also known as phenol methane - a common toxic chemical in the environment,
is considered a hormone disruptor (a type of environmental hormone.)
In addition to affecting reproduction and development,
bisphenol A can also cause obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease,
which is quite harmful to the human body.
Different uses, the selection of plastic molding materials needs to be careful,
and the glass transition temperature must be reached during molding,
and the characteristics of PES plastic can be exerted.
